Complication

At the end of 2019 the world was hit with a pandemic that shut down most business, this included churches. Upon reopening, large groups were not allowed to gather and singing was not allowed. But this small group wanted to continue providing its’ members and community with faithful music during these trying times.

Solution

Taking action the church began utilizing digital tools making the church service completely online, being available on multiple platforms. This is when I was reached out and asked if there was a way to get live music into the service. Live music was unfortunately unavailable do to the circumstances of Covid-19, but recorded music was possible. I via videos and online communication, taught the choir members how to record themselves with basic equipment, properly upload and export files, and proper recording rules to improve recording quality. Once the individual member had submitted their recordings I would assemble them and create a master video for the church service. The technical work is in the audio editing, mixing, and mastering, the video is more simple to keep focus on the words and message. Bellow you can brows through a few of my selected chosen favorites.
